We have an immediate opening for a full time Food and Beverage Market Coordinator. The Food and Beverage Market Coordinator develops products by identifying potential products; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing and time integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, conducts sales team and customer training, works closely with R&D and D&D teams to develop new products, attends related industry tradeshows, generates new product ideas, brings new products to market. Computer and software literacy is required as is a high school diploma/GED. Must have knowledge of standard business functionality, office environments, sales tactics, marketing tactics, marketing software and marketing terms. Previous project management is also required.
The Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist job duties include but are not limited to: installation, inspection, repair, calibration and maintenance of equipment and instrumentation used in the biological culture media manufacturing field. You must be able to lift 50 pounds, the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers and employees. A two year certificate from college or technical school or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be given preference. High school diploma or GED is required.
The Senior R&D Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating new product design, development, verification and validation. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to; business development activities including setting up and managing strategic relationships and alliances with other third-party companies, sharing responsibilities for the implementation of the strategic business plan through the identification and analysis of opportunities for the acquisition/divestiture of technologies, products and companies. This position works in partnership with senior management to set up and manage strategic relationships and alliances with other third party companies to develop, manufacture, sell or purchase products and technologies. A minimum of a master’s degree in microbiology or related field; or five years related experience and/or training is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Project and fiscal management experience is highly desired. College courses in medical microbiology, food/industrial microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, word processing and spreadsheet software are desirable. Membership in relevant industry recognized professional organizations (ASM, IAFP, AOAC, PDA, etc.) and completion of a minimum of 12 hours of documented continuing education annually is also desired.

We have an immediate opening for a part time Distribution Center Clerk at our headquarters in Santa Maria, CA (M T F 10:00am-5:00pm W Th 12:00pm-5:00pm). The California Distribution Center Clerk’s responsibilities include accurately pulling and packing orders for shipment as well as various other warehouse duties. We will train an energetic, motivated, quality oriented, self-starter. Must be able to diligently follow verbal instructions and written documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures. Must be well organized and possess excellent number and character recognition skills. Must be able to lift, push, and pull 70 pounds, work from a ladder, and stand throughout the entire shift (excluding breaks). A high school diploma or GED is required.
The Manufacturing Technician (Cook) is responsible for preparing media for dispensing. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: cleaning the manufacturing kitchen area and equipment, following pick lists and work instructions, weighs and measures raw materials for use in manufacturing products, measures water and understands the use of water batch controllers, selects appropriate pot for each product. ,mixes ingredients and loads and empties autoclaves. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED. College courses in biology, chemistry and physics are a plus. Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 pounds.
The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install, repair and maintain all types of manufacturing related equipment.
- Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections.
- Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing health safety and environment and maintainability requirements are met.
- Use FaciliWorks Asset Management and Work Order software based system per all appropriate SOP’s.
The LITSS is responsible for increasing and achieving overall sales and profit goals assigned to manufactured and distributed laboratory instruments. Create and execute an Instrument Sales Development Plan which aligns with company goals. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: generate new and repeat business, have advanced skills in both laboratory instruments and molecular diagnostics, make calls to hospitals, universities, public health laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, cannabis growers/processors, food companies, etc. A four year degree from an accredited institution is required as is a minimum of five years of laboratory/medical instrument sales experience and 3+ years experience in molecular diagnostics instrument sales. Advanced computer and communication skills are also required and experience with Salesforce is a plus. This position does require domestic travel and comes with a quarterly bonus plan based on generated profit and product line performance.
