Manufacturing Technician - Ohio

We have an immediate opening for an entry level Packaging/Labeling Production Technician at our new Springboro, Ohio location (full time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). If you have a passion for excellence and would like to join a stable and growing company then we'd like to talk to you.

The Packaging/Labeling Production Technician is responsible for packaging and labeling products prior to shipment. Meticulous attention to detail is essential. We will train a quality-oriented, motivated, self-starter. The ability to read, understand, and diligently follow written documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, batch records, and procedure manuals is essential as is receiving and following verbal instructions. Must be well organized and possess exceptional number recognition. Some knowledge of science is helpful. Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds, and climb a ladder. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Information Systems Technician - California

We are looking for another dedicated person to join us as a part-time Information Systems Technician (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM). If you have a passion for excellence and would like to join a thriving company then we'd like to talk to you.

The Information Systems Technician installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, provides technical assistance and training to system users, creates and modifies database reports for data mining, and manages information in various databases. Excellent troubleshooting abilities are essential as are good verbal and written communication skills. Training will be provided but some prior related experience is required, such as experience with Active Directory and providing Help Desk service. This position requires occasionally lifting and /or moving up to 50 pounds. This position also requires working flexible hours as determined by management, including possible weekend work. A Bachelor's degree in Management of Information Systems or other computer-related field preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.

Production Manager - California

We have an immediate opening for a full time Plate Operations Manager.

The Plate Operations Manager's responsibilities include the following: directly supervises Lead Technicians in the Plate Operations Department; works closely with Logistics group to minimize backorders to the customer; develops weekly production/equipment schedule and prioritizes daily add-ons; reviews and approves electronic timecards on a weekly basis; performs employee reviews; establishes priorities and sequences for manufacturing products while maximizing production efficiency; performs investigative work on any non-conforming production run by reviewing batch records and working with a team to develop preventive measures; coordinates activities between other production groups, Maintenance, QA, and QC to resolve product, process, or equipment problems; develops, communicates, and posts production metrics; participates in Continuous Improvement processes and supports employee involvement within the department; ensures all required work instructions and standard operating procedures are followed and documented; performs project work as required. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position. Preference will be given first to candidates with a degree in Industrial Technology or Industrial Engineering and then to candidates with a degree in another engineering discipline or Business. Candidates with two years or more of manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Technical Support Specialist - California

We have an immediate opening for a full time Technical Support Specialist.

The Technical Support Specialist is part of Hardy Diagnostics’ Technical team and is mainly responsible for responding to customers with technical questions or complaints about our products. Other microbiology or science-related projects may be assigned. Customer interaction may be via email, phone or in person so excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. This position also supports our Sales and Marketing Department with product information and customer support. The Technical Support Specialist may occasionally be involved with troubleshooting or product development projects that involve laboratory work. B.S. degree required. B.S. degree in Microbiology OR Bachelor’s degree in related science plus courses in Medical Microbiology, Food/Industrial Microbiology, Chemistry and Biochemistry and 2+ years of related experience preferred.
