This control provides a simple, cost effective means to validate the processing and centrifugation of urine prior to microscopic analysis in compliance with CLIA regulations. Microscopic evaluation of urine sediment is a moderately complex test and requires daily use of controls. Qualitative and quantitative values are provided for standardized urinalysis systems, the Censlide system and the glass slide and cover slip method. QuanTscopics is a bi-level control containing both red and white stabilized human blood cells and crystals.
