This pre-moistened Speci-Sponge kit makes environmental surface sampling fast and easy. Perfect for sampling work areas, equipment, animal carcasses, and any other place where Listeria, Salmonella, E. coli may be found. The sponge comes in a sterile bag and is pre-moistened with 10mls of neutralizing buffer. To use, squeeze the excess buffer out of the sponge, wipe the surface that requires testing, replace the sponge back in the bag, close the bag and send off to the lab for analysis. The Speci-Sponge kit comes with a sterile glove that is packaged in a separate compartment below the sponge. The kit has a shelf life of one year and requires no refrigeration.
