This direct fluorescent assay (DFA) is an in vitro immunoassay for the qualitative determination of Cryptosporidium and Giardia oocysts and cysts in feces. Can be used with stools preserved in 10% formalin, SAF, or MCC's Universal Fixative. Results in 60 minutes.
