Neutralizing Saline is recommended for the detection of microorganisms found on surfaces. Neutralizes a broad spectrum of antiseptics and disinfectants such as; quaternary ammonia, iodine, chlorine, phenolics, formalin, mercurials, glutaraldehyde, ethanol, and hexachlorophene. Detects microorganisms remaining after sanitation treatment. Contains no growth factors, therefor is recommended for enumeration methods.
Collect and transport environmental samples with efficiency and ease. Simply remove the cap and attached Dacron® swab, collect the sample, recap, and send to the lab. Each EnviroTrans™ tube contains broth or buffer (see listing). The entire unit is terminally sterilized. Excellent for detection or enumeration of microorganisms from environmental surfaces or equipment.
