Vibrio
Vibriosis causes an estimated 80,000 illnesses in the United States every year with most infections coming from the consumption of raw or undercooked seafood. Vibrio spp. thrive in warmer coastal waters and are most prevalent in May through October. Hardy offers several solutions to identify Vibrio, such as the traditional TCBS Agar, and the newer chromogenic formulas.
