Hardy Diagnostics Makes the Inc. 5000
Inc. Magazine has once again included Hardy Diagnostics in their list of 5,000 fastest growing private companies in the United States. Hardy Diagnostics is ranked 205th in the Health Industry.
Inc.’s website states, “The 2016 Inc. 5000 are the superheroes of the U.S. economy. America’s fastest-growing private companies wield powers like strategy, service, and innovation.” Service and innovation are exactly the things for which Jay Hardy strives. Every year, Hardy Diagnostics has not only attempted to find new and better ways to detect disease, but have kept itself humble-never allowing success to cloud the company's future vision or corrupt the core values of the company. “We want to thank not only Inc. Magazine for including us in their list, but our loyal customers without whom none of this would be possible,” Mr. Hardy states. Jay Hardy cemented that sentiment nearly three decades ago when he founded Hardy Diagnostics with the motto “a culture of service”.
Hardy Diagnostics is one of the few on the list to boast full employee ownership. The company is run under the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) business principle and became one hundred percent employee owned in 2015. This is something of which Jay, and the company as a whole, are incredibly proud. Rebecca Richards, Account Manager for Hardy Diagnostics, said, "Being a part of an ESOP breaks down title barriers. We all have the same title…OWNER. Ownership inspires greater value and satisfaction in our daily work. That work turns into an investment. It is no longer just a job.” The employees of Hardy Diagnostics work extremely hard and act like they own the place....because they do! This is the reason for 35 years of continuous growth.
The Inc. 500/5000 ranks companies by revenue growth over a three year period. Hardy Diagnostics has surpassed its previous record in Inc.’s list by achieving 45% growth.
Hardy Diagnostics is in good company in this list as it contains the fastest growing private companies in the United States such as Zappos, Under Armor, Patagonia, and Microsoft. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles, can be found at http://www.inc.com/inc5000/list/2016/ .
